She Went To The Cabana [For Drinks And Such]

She went to the cabana, down by the bay,
Lookin' for a moment to slip away,
With a twist of lime and salt on the rim,
She laughed as the daylight started to dim.

For drinks and such, a little too much,
She found her rhythm with every touch,
A warm breeze blowin’, hearts keep showin',
Sometimes we go just to feel we're golden.

She met a stranger with a story to tell,
About the high tide and the ocean's swell,
They clinked their glasses, talked 'bout dreams,
The way life’s not always what it seems.

For drinks and such, a little too much,
She found her rhythm with every touch,
A warm breeze blowin’, hearts keep showin',
Sometimes we go just to feel we're golden.

She watched the stars in a midnight trance,
Danced on the sand like she took a chance,
She closed her eyes, let herself unwind,
Left her worries and the world behind.

The cabana lights were soft and low,
She lost track of time, let herself go,
Tomorrow might come with all its fuss,
But tonight it was just drinks and such.

For drinks and such, a little too much,
She found her rhythm with every touch,
A warm breeze blowin’, hearts keep showin',
Sometimes we go just to feel we're golden.

She went to the cabana, just for a while,
Left with a memory and a secret smile,
Maybe next time, she'll do it again,
For drinks and such… and a new old friend.
